Thank you for your continuing patronage of OKI Networks.
The financial crisis that emerged around the time OKI Networks began operating in 2008 has significantly affected the business environment worldwide. It is likely that more time will be needed for a full-fledged recovery from conditions described as a once-in-a-century phenomenon.
Starting operation amid such harsh business conditions, OKI Networks has made aggressive efforts in a variety of areas, including new product development and business structure reforms. In fiscal year 2010, we plan to enhance these initiatives and strive to provide products suited for the IP era.
Looking at our product lines by primary use, they can be grouped into products used on carrier networks and those used mainly by enterprise clients.
Our products for carriers include telecommunications infrastructure devices, including carrier-grade quality session border controllers and application servers. We also help enterprise clients improve the efficiency of their business operations through a diverse range of devices and solutions, including IP telephony systems, call-center systems, and video teleconferencing systems.
Starting in fiscal year 2010, alongside various initiatives implemented across the entire OKI Group, we plan to rededicate ourselves to the mission of providing effective one-stop solutions to meet the needs of our clients and to help them resolve telecommunication issues, based on an integrated sales, technology, production, and maintenance cycle.
All members of OKI Networks intend to devote every effort to providing products and systems befitting our parent company's roughly 130-year history as a manufacturer of telecommunication equipments. We are deeply grateful for the continuing understanding and support of our customers.
